In a world full of complexities, it is nice to be able to come home, kick off the shoes, sit down and relax
with an enjoyable bottle of wine. Bread & Butter Wines believes the simple things in life should be good, honest and delicious. A motto by which I can live. One of my favorite things to do, especially this time of year, is to end the day with a nice glass of wine on the patio, while enjoying the view with some quiet

With over 30 years of experience, Linda has learned a thing or two about winemaking and likes to keep things simple yet intricate for the everyday
wine drinker.
A few of their staple wines that I like to have on hand include the Rosé, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. The
Rosé is a wine that is in style every season of the year but is especially inviting right now as the flowers
are blooming and there is a new freshness in the air. Juicy red fruit on the nose with melon and hints of
rose petals coming through. Crisp and refreshing on the palate with lively acidity and an alluring finish.
The Chardonnay shows up as a sophisticated wine, rich in taste and style. Lush, creamy notes of vanilla,
almond, nutmeg and a touch of tropical fruit arouse the senses while the balanced acidity and savory
oak lead to a lingering, elegant finish. Think of Crème Brûlée in a glass, those are the vibes I get with this
wine.
You cannot go wrong with the Pinot Noir. Cherry and raspberry immediately jump out with a nice
balance between earthiness and spice. The fresh red fruit flavors complement the light oak, creating a
juicy finish.
Next time you are in the Napa Valley, take a turn onto the Silverado Trail and stop in for a tasting. They
recently completed a modern tasting room that is warm and inviting, the perfect setting to relax with a
glass of wine while taking in the intricacies of the wines. Keep in mind, their limited release Napa Valley
wines (which I look forward to tasting someday soon!) are only available through the tasting room, wine
club or online shop.
